When you feel like SH tell somebody; a good friend, close family member, etc. if you can't talk to somebody then snap a rubber band on your wrist. And remember you can always PM me if you need or want to talk

Life goes on. People move on. It'll be okay.

Hi there

One thing that's going to help you stop is thinking about what upset you every time you feel the need to cut. Stop and think about it; it's helpful to write down what your triggers are so you know what situations are potential triggers.

Do you have someone you can talk to when you feel the urge to cut? That can be helpful because that person can kind of talk you through it. Distraction is key; you need to keep your hands busy. Write, read a book, draw, paint, etc. What I like to do is take my music and go for a walk - exercise really helps. Blogging or keeping a diary is also a really good way to just get it all down on paper.

Feel free to message me!

Hi Jay, you could try looking at the alternatives to self harm page which can be found here. Another idea is too talk to another person about how your feeling, maybe another site user, a trusted family member or friend. Hope this helps, take care and don't do anything you will regret.

I'm here if anyone wants to talk, I'm always here. Feel free to VM or PM me
