How to Hide - September 11th 2013, 09:46 AM

I know I've asked a few questions about self harm the past two days, but I've been trying to cover my cuts up. I've ran out of ideas. I wear crew necks everyday, but for the next few days it's supposed to be in the high 90's so it's not a very good/comfortable idea. I've tried covering them up with bracelets, but they always seem to show through the cracks. Another thing I tried, was makeup. But my skin is so pale/freckled that its very obvious that I covered something up (and they still show through a bit). Idk if you guys have any ideas, but thanks.

You could try looking for a lighter colour make-up. Some people find that L'oreal true match mineral foundation is good. Or you could wear a big watch if you have one and wear bracelets too. This may sounds silly but fake-tan can make it less visible too, as long as its a natural colour and not orange.
Hope this helps, I'm always here if you want to talk

Are your cuts on one or both of your arms? You can wear an ace bandage until they heal up and just tell people that you sprained it. Another thing you can try are long sleeved shirts with a light fabric or even sheer tops. You can also try arm warmers, I used those a lot.
