Unhappy "Razors R My Best Friends" - December 4th 2013, 01:23 AM

I... I feel like my mother wants me to cut because every time im brushing my teeth or anything in the bathroom theres always a new supply of clean razors. One night I thought it was all over with the razors my friend told me to give them to her (wich i did) so she could dispose of them. The next morning guess wat i find... a new supply of fresh razors. Wat should I do?

Hi there,

Does your mom know that you cut yourself? If she does, maybe you can ask her to stop leaving the razors somewhere you can see them? For example, instead of putting them right out in the open or in a cabinet you use constantly, you can ask her to put them in a separate cabinet or on a shelf where you don't see them and get tempted.

You can also ask your mom why she constantly is buying you new razors and imply that she shouldn't get more for a while.

Or, continue giving them to your friend. You can also keep a reminder note in your pocket to continue to stay strong.

You can do this!

Hi there,

What Dez said above sums it up pretty well! If you don't feel comfortable talking to your mom and asking her to put the razors somewhere else, you can continue to give them to your friend and have her dispose of them.

You can also put them in a lockbox, or throw them away or flush them. Whatever you choose to do, know that we support you and we want you to continue to stay strong! I believe in you. Good luck, hope I helped you out!

I love you to the moon and back.

Darling you are the only exception. ~Paramore ♡

Does your Mum know? If she does maybe she's just trying to make sure you are being hygeinic with it, using fresh ones each time or something? If she knows, it would be great if you can talk to her about it.

Otherwise, perhaps you could move them to somewhere out of the way you won't see them? If she asks you could just say it made more sense to keep them in said place or you were tidying and must have moved them?

Don't give them to your friend if you think she'll use them herself. The only other thing I can think of if you can't talk to your mum about it is giving them to someone you trust who doesn't cut to dispose of or disposing of them yourself. Of course this won't work if its something your mum wants a constant supply of as she'll just get more.

I hope something I've said has helped. Good luck!
