Smile A new day - March 13th 2014, 12:41 PM

Why carry on what I've been feeling yesterday and in the past? Why continue to not try and to just feel miserable? Today's a new day. A new beginning. A day to think of the positive things instead of dwelling on all the things wrong with my life! I feel depressed but still hopeful. All I have to do is believe things can get better and hope for the best. Can you do the same?

I think that what you have described is a really great way to recover from self harm! You have to treat each day like a new day and a new opportunity, and it is definitely better to think of the positives instead of dwelling on the negatives. You CAN get better.
