Self harm infection?

I think one of the cuts is infected but how do I know for sure?

I got this off of webmd:

Honestly, if you think your wound might be infected you should probably go to the doctor and get it checked out just to be safe. You don't want the, possible, infection to get out of control and lead to something more serious. A doctor will be able to look at the wound and tell if it is infected and prescribe an antibiotic to help treat it.

I am wishing you the best of luck.

Another possible symptom: if the scab is a yellowish color. I think you should definitely go to the doctor if it doesn't clear up, and in the mean time putting neosporin on it is probably a good idea.

All of these suggestions are great and seeing a doctor is important if the infection persists. Make sure that you are cleaning it frequently with soap. If it is deep do not clean it with hydrogen peroxide or alcohol because it will damage the tissue. Although it is best to not cut at all, make sure that if you are going to do it clean the object first and clean the wound afterwards to avoid infection and blood disease.
I wish you the best of luck
