Covering scars on thighs - August 4th 2017, 04:11 PM

Hi, I cut on my thighs a lot about a month ago and they're all healed now but there are small, dark purple scars towards the top of my thigh.

I'm going away to the beach next week and I don't know what to do or how to cover them because I'll be in a swimsuit the whole time and I've tried so many makeup videos on YouTube of covering a scar and none of it seems to work so please I am desperate lol. I can't put a band aid over them because they're in 2 separate spots. I'm planning on putting band aids over one spot and saying I cut myself shaving, but I don't know how to cover the other. Thank u in advance :,)

It depends on where they are. If they are high on your thigh then try to get swimsuit shorts. They're swim bottoms that are basically shaped like shorts. Those cover pretty well. If you can't just say you scratched yourself really hard on accident. Hope this helped, stay strong, sending love your way.

(You can also try waterproof makeup, but I don't know if that will help)

Looking into bathing suit shorts is a good idea. If you can't get any of those, try athletic shorts. Some have spandex underneath and they could help cover your scars more. If you don't plan on completely wading into the water, you could put regular shorts over your bathing suit or wear a cover-up most of the time so no one sees your scars.

Hope you have fun at the beach!
