Your cutting again. How do I help you, (friend)? I don't know anymore.

Hey Emma,
I'm confused. Are you the one who is cutting again? or is it your friend who is cutting again? I have advice for both, but they are different so I need to know. If you feel more comfortable you can PM or text me. I am here for you.
Your Friend,

Hey Emma,

It's okay. I would be upset too.

I am guessing your friend has told you this. If she has then that means she actually want's help. If she didn't tell you and you saw I feel like some part of her wanted you to find out. I know that when I was school and cut, I made sure I hid it, or if I wanted help I didn't necessarily show them but didn't try 110% to hide them either.

I know how hard it is to see someone struggle with this. The first thing I would do is tell her that you will always be there for her and she can talk to you anytime. Maybe also tell her if she feel like cutting to text you...You can even come up with a code word or phrase she can tell you or text you so you know what's going on right away.

I would also suggest for her to either look at This coping skill list or you can even print it out and give it to her.

If you ever need to talk you know where to find me.
Your Friend,
Frankie.
