itching - January 17th 2009, 09:33 AM

does anyone have any ways of stopping the itching of healing cuts, it's driving me crazy and is not helping revising lol

I don't have an answer for this based on personal experience. I usually just go crazy with the itching and deal with it.

I've read that putting neosporin on it can help though. I haven't really found anything useful from a quick google search.

Fiona, remember that you don't have to cut. You are stronger than this. I know you can recover if you put your mind to it. Just use your alternatives and remember that we are here if you need to talk.

Try an antiseptic cream. Or anything that will moisturise it but not irritate it.

Sometimes a small scratch can help too, but try not to over do it, otherwise healing will take longer.

udontno, i have neosprin so i'll try that , and i know i don't have to cut just some times i forget, but i am seeing a concellor on tuesday *scared*

marionette, thank you but i'm going to avoid scratching it as they are all closed up now and i would rather not open them again
