Water Parks - August 20th 2009, 09:18 PM

I don't know what to do.

Next week I've been invited to an Indoor water park with my friends.
I have really bad scars on my legs some are recent. Some of my friends don't know I cut, One does but he thinks I haven't done it recently. I don't whether to say I'm not going and upset everyone, wear board shorts and look like an idiot or just to leave the scars showing and people ask questions..
Please give me some advice!

Hey Lucy! I remember you from the chat room.

Haha I guess Xander's idea might work. I just wear board shorts whenever I go swimming. Trust me, you don't look like an idiot in them. Unless you don't mind people asking questions about them. Personally, I would get upset if people kept asking me about them. I don't think you should stay home because you'll miss such a great time. There are tons or girls that wear board shorts so you won't stick out at all. I hope this helps!

Whatever it is, chances are I've been there.
If I can make it out, you can too.

I went to the waterpark a few weeks ago.
I just wore little shorts, and said I don't have bikini bottoms (yet)

You wont look like an idiot.
Go how you're comfortable and don't worry about what everyone else will think.
You'll all be focused on the rides rather than anything else.

Have fun
