Hey Rebecca,

I am sorry to hear that you have self harmed badly. I strongly urge you to get some medical help. Those cuts do sound like they could be infected and if you don't get them treated then the infection will get worse. You really need to go and get them checked out. I know it can be scary to see a doctor about them but that is better than leaving them and they becoming worse. It can cause all sorts of complications if they are infected so that is why I suggest you get them checked out.

I really hope you do manage to see a doctor about them. If you need anything at all then I am always happy to listen Please take care because you are worth it.

Hey there,

That sounds really serious and I think you should seek medical attention. Like the others have said the cut could be infected and if that is the case you will need a doctor.

Rebecca, I know that it will be hard to go to a doctor but in the end it is the best thing to do because an untreated infection is never a good thing. It can get worse and cause complications.

Please hang in there and if you ever need anything don't hesitate to pm me.

Jenna

Hi there Rebecca,

It is possible that the black marks surrounding your cuts could be dried blood, but there is also a possibility that it could be an infection which could potentially be very serious and that would certainly need medical attention. There is a first aid sticky [here] that you may want to check out regarding cuts and infections but it is in no way a replacement for medical attention.
Please do try and get an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can as infections are very unpleasant and can be rather harmful. It may be difficult for you but you do deserve treatment, Rebecca. You don't deserve to be in any further pain.

Take care.
