Hi Corey.

I know that you know that self harm isn't good, and we've talked about stopping and things like that, so I'll jump right to your question.
Sweat bands work well. If you have a bulky watch, that will work for just a few. To cover up scars, you can rub some makeup on them, which makes them less noticeable. You can also go to a drug store and buy some scar remover cream. Sometimes wearing super light cotton long-sleeve shirts can work.
PM me anytime.
Stay safe.

a very light long sleeve shirt will work, I live in FL and a ton of people wear long sleeves even though its still like, 100 outside

I do exactly as Keena suggested. I wear a light long sleeved shirt, usually used for layering, and then wear a regular short sleeved shirt over that. It looks really nice and I don't think people question it all that much.

Best of luck,

Hi there,

The above suggestions all seem to sound very helpful and perhaps you could try those out. You may also be interested in reading TeenHelp's Cover-Up Tips Article which is located [here]. It basically covers most of the ways that you could attempt to cover up any scars that you may have, it may be able to give you some ideas. As that article basically summarises all of the things that you could do, then I'm going to close this thread now. If you have any other problems, feel free to PM me or make a new thread.

Take care.
