That's really great seriously!! It really depends on how bad the scars are ~ some fade quickly and some take a little longer. Have you tried putting anything on them?¿ Personally I use bio-oil on mine and I've noticed an improvement, and Vitamin E oil can also be a big help. Just rub in a little to the scars every day and they'll start to help. Try googling a few things about scars, I've found some helpful sites in the past (:

It's really great that you've stopped and havn't done so in such a long time! Take a lot of pride in that, as it seems you already do.

As for the scars, as bitesize said, it really depends on how bad they are. Some will fade in a matter of days, others might always be there a little. That's not to say some of the stuff bitesize suggested won't do the trick, because I hear they really help get rid of scars that would otherwise be permanent. There are some brand out there that are made specifically to get rid of scars, and theres always the nifty little products like Vitamin E and such that help. I'd head up to the nearest grocery/convience store like CVS or Walmart or some place and see what would fit your budget to help get rid of scars.

Again, good job on stopping!

Take me seriously.
I dare you.
