Annoying! - March 16th 2010, 06:49 PM

I cut.
Yes, we all know this by now
My cutting is getting worse, most people know this to

Anyway, lately iv been cutting deeper
and as these are getting scabs, iv lately, been obsessing, and constently picking any scabs off, ripping them out, so there are big lines, like big chunks of flesh missing.
I know, it sounds discusting

anyway, there itching like hell
really they are, which is making me want to pick and scratch at them even more!!
Im not looking to be told about alternatives and such, becasue for me they dont work!
I was just wondering if many people scratch at their cuts, and stuff

xxx

wel yeah... it's itching cause it's healing of course you want to scatch it. i'm sure theres an alternative out there for you, you jsut havent found it yet.

" One day at a time, this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering. "

i wonder when i'll finally jsut start accepting myself, when i'll stop saying i wish i could be like that person.

i have facebook, and myspace. and you can ask for it. :P

I scratch and pick at my cuts all the time. You're not the only one who does it. Someties putting something really cold on the scabs or taking a bath can help with the itching.

I pick at my scabs, whether cut-inflicted or not. I also pick at anything from a pimple, to even digging at a freckle until it turned into a scab. I'm bad for removing scabs.

Hey Lea,
I can totally understand what you're going through. If you want to lessen the itching/scratching, I would suggest putting neosporine, or antibacterial ointment, because it's the bacteria in there that's making it itch.
Hope this helped a bit. Please take care of yourself Lea.
