Question There back... - March 19th 2010, 12:19 AM

I used to cut and burn and i quit over a year ago but the temptations i guess have slowly crept there way back to the surface. I WANT to burn and i don't like that I want but sometimes it isn't enough.

My boyfriend knows about my past experiences with the death of my two friends, one to suicide and one to murder, also that i cut and burn for three years. and well he has noticed my change in moods, i'm normally this happy out of control person that smiles and laughs all the time, and now i barley ever want to do anything, i'm always in a poor mood now too and that I sleep a lot. it's mostly because I'm running out of distractions...it's frightening. I don't know what else to do. Am I back in depression or is this just a small phase to recovery?

Have you tried talking to your boyfriend about these recurring urges?
Not knowing all the details, and not being a professional or anything, I can't say for sure whether this is a phase of recovery or something more serious, but what I can say, with 100% certainty, is, if you're having any doubts or worries, the best thing to do is get yourself to a doctor, counsellor, psychologist, someone like that. Can you do that?
*hugs*
