Question Urgent: Cover-up??? - February 10th 2009, 05:37 PM

Okay, so on sunday , I Cut.
quite a bit.
never this bad before.
big long cuts like 15 cm long all up my both my arms.
Anyway..Point of this story..
I have work on Friday.
I must wear a short-sleeved shirt for this job.
I cant wear anything else.

I NEED some advice on how to cover up my scars because everyone WILL ask me about them.
They have done it before (about smaller scars, and i did manage to get out of it)

Any advice at all would be really appreciated.
Im really scared to go to work
and I am really panicing..

Thanks. xx

Are you allowed to wear jewelry and things like arm warmers? They work well. You could also try putting make up over them.

There is also a sticky in the SH section all about covering cuts and scars, you should have a quick look at it : )

Jewellry or make up (concealer/foundation - beware of infection) seems like the best idea.

Please use the "search option" before posting again, it can be really helpful. :]

Try some makeup and some sweat band things, and look at the cover up sticky, its very useful as someone above said if you ever want to talk PM me anytime =]

Ben Nye concealer in "Very Pale" - it'll cover up the scar AND the redness it covers. But you might want to confide in one of coworkers so that you aren't holding all of this up inside, eh?

peace and love

I suppose you could wrap your arm in a bandage and if someone asks, say that you accidentally burned it, or fell on it.
