struggling - November 21st 2010, 11:02 AM

im currently sturggling with being indecisive living is as good as suicide, self-har is as good as starving i know tjings are really hard for me atm ive spoke to my carer and just vented im still sitting and pondering whether to fight every day or give up but atm give up seems the answer as now the more question is to self-harm or starve myself and thats the question i have i know both are very bad and it will probly only last a day or 2 but at this time the decision seems really important to make of whether to self-harm or starve i just want to hurt myself have control

Hey Brooke,

I am sorry to hear you are feeling like this. It sounds like you are going through rather a difficult time at the moment. I think it is really good that you have spoken to your carer; it is important to talk to people about how you feel and not bottle it up. Could you speak to your carer again and let them know how much you are struggling? I am sure they will want to help you but they can only help if they know how you feel.

You can get through this though. I know right now self harm an starving yourself might seem like the only things you have control of. But there will be other small things you have control of in your life. Perhaps write a list of things you would like to have more control of and then you can look at these things and see if it is possible.
