Whats the point??... - February 24th 2009, 03:33 AM

Well today wasn't that great of a day. Work was busy and just for some reason I was uber down. While I was at work all I could think about was cutting..and thinking "I wanna cut when I get home"...and what did I do ...I cut...I feel kind of bad for doing it but it made me feel a little better. Now I know why they say its an addiction because when I feel down all I think about is that...

Aw, Im sorry to hear that
See, I'm kind of stuck on the subject of SH because some people say it really helps them and whatnot. But it can progress into something really serious so....=/
Theres nothing else you can think of to kind of distract yourself from these thoughts?

Yesterday I saw you kissing tiny flowers
But everything that lives is born to die
And so I say to you that nothing really matters
And all you do is stand and cry.

Music is life. Start living.

I don't know if you've had any past experiences with self harm, but I suggest stopping while you're ahead. It can be easy to get addicted to. If you're not already, it's easier to stop now then when you get in over your head. Self harming releases a chemical into your brain that calms you down. It isn't the best way to cope. Please don't think this is your only way to get through the day. There are many other things. Try talking with friends, family, writing blog entries. If you think about self harm this much, confront it now. I know many people who wish they would have confronted it in an earlier stage. If it gets to the point where you think about it before anything else, talk to someone. Talk to someone that can hopefully get you help. If you need anyone to talk to, let me know. :]

That's too bad. I know it's easy to resort to SH when you get depressed. I've thought about it millions of times. But in the end it's not worth it, just try to keep that in your mind.

You can't live a positive life with a negative mind and if you have a positive outcome you have a positive income and just to have more positivity and just to kind of laugh it off. ~ Miley Cyrus
