Post Homemade Butterfly Stitches? - December 19th 2010, 03:06 AM

Does anyone know how to make them? I've read TH's First Aid Thread but it doesn't say anything on how to make your own medical supplies when your parents would suspect something of your eagerness towards buying butterfly stitches and gauze, or at least mine would because they know my history. I know a lot of different fabrics can substitute gauze but is there anyway to make butterfly stitches? All I have in my house are band-aid and bacitracin as medical supplies.

Thanks.

duct tape, or a strong medical tape with just some fairly clean paper towel or cloth, or use just the sticky part of a bandaid to hold it closed, but do it soon or else itll start to scab over and hurt and will just reopen the wound. good luck
