Unhappy thought I was done with the shame - December 19th 2010, 02:38 PM

I'm not though. I'm more ashamed of myself every day. I'm more paranoid someone will see with every cut. I feel like a weaker person every drop of blood. I'm an addict. Pain is my drug. I hate myself for being this way

Hey there, I don't know you and I don't know your situation other than what you've posted here but what is it that makes you feel like a weak person? Like I said I don't know you but what I do know is that you've looked at your situation, realised something and from that reached out and posted here about it. Ok, we might not be able to change your situation but we can offer you support, advice and just someone to talk to and reaching out takes strength. It isn't something a weak person could do.

I was just wondering what you wanted though? As in, do you want things to be different and do you want to try and fight the addiction? Because no matter how far down that path you may feel you are and no matter how hopless things may seem now you can fight this if you want to. Like I said, you've already shown that you have strength and you can use that strength again to work towards where you want to be. That's what it'll be though; work. It isn't easy but it is possible and you don't have to do it on your own.
