i'm thinking... - February 26th 2009, 10:50 PM

that im still on my medication.
im thinkin about thearpy again.
im sort of tryin to pull myself out of my depression that iv been stuck in the majority of my life.
but i know i cant not cut.
and im not planning to stop.
im not strong enough for it
im scared that thearpy wont work, even with time.
as i wont stick at it.

im tryin to think positive, but its not really workin.
iv just got a place at uni, and ,my drivnig lessons r goin well.
but theres negatives with them.
and everything else doesnt hava a positive what so ever.

i dont no what to do or what to think.
i dont feel that i wanna try now, cos iv been thinkin about it to much?
about the thought of bein happyish?
thinkin of me failing?
im more than scared, this isnt just nerves about thearpy.

i actually think that im gonna give up before ive begun.
im talkin myself out of it.
maybe, but for the best?
i think so.

i sound so pathetic and sselfish sorry

I think therapy is a great idea. Personally my therapist is one of the greater people i've met. She can help me with everything. I know my problems are probably not similar to yours, but I can still relate. It's been apparent to my parents even at a young age.

What might work is just....i know it may sound crazy...but relax for a time. Put some relaxing tunes, and lay down for awhile. Then when you feel relaxed, imagine a tv in front of you, and put images of you bad thoughts in it. Slowly imagine that TV shrink, smaller and smaller and smaller. Then think of good thoughts, almost as if you were living them again.

Feel that you are free of your troubles and sadness and worries. ANd everytime you think of a bad thought, imagine your on a mountain and shouting NO! To get rid of those bad thoughts.

If your wondering...i went through hypnosis before.

But i think it is a good idea to keep yourself occupied alot, i find that when i have time to think, my mind races. But when i'm busy i'm thinking of the task at hand. I hope i helped! PM me if you need to.
