Why is this one of your triggers?
"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it." |

Are you seeing a therapist for this?
The fact that you seem to have so much self hatred for yourself is something that needs to be worked on and a lot of people have therapy to get over this. If you aren't seeing a therapist then I definitely recommend that you try to get one, you don't deserve to feel like this. Take care and stay strong <3  |

My parents want me to see a therapist for my panic attacks and maybe they could help with this too I dunno

I think it'd be a good idea to mention this to them. I've seen on TV documentaries where people get help for things like this so it's possible they could help you.
Do you know when you'll be able to get to see the therapist? |

Seeing a therapist/psychiatrist helped me immensely with my self-image issues. If it's getting to the point where you feel you need to hurt yourself every time you look in the mirror, you need some help. It's like that song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snow--'But I need more than myself this time.' Keep your head up and you can PM me anytime.
