Post I'm a minger - January 31st 2011, 04:59 PM

This thread has been labeled as containing spoilers. The contents of this thread might therefore describe important elements of a storyline that could ruin it for you. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

wasn't sure whether this was the right place to post, but yeah, its relevant

basically in drama, we just read a play called 'I'm a minger'. i dont know if anyone here's read it, but it deals with the topics such as bullying, self harm, bullemia (spelling??) and peer pressure in order to fit in. at the end of the play, the character ends up changing the way she feels about how she should fit in, and ends up being friends with the people who make her happy and not self harm. i just think the play is a real eye opener to the issue of self harm, and alot of what causes it. worth a read if ya like plays and that kind of stuff.

also remember, you're never alone when it comes to these things. there are always people who have or are experiencing the same thing as you, and there are always people to talk to and ways to feel better. PM me if you just wanna' talk, i'll do my best to help
