Hiding cuts? :/ - February 3rd 2011, 09:07 PM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of self harm, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I haven't self-harmed for a while but for the past few days I've been really stressed (I know, not a great excuse) and scrammed my arm. I done it harder than I normally do and the cut is quite obvious :/

I can't blame my cat forever my mum will put two and two together at one point.

What could I hide it with? I'm assuming putting foundation or something on it isn't a good idea. It's quite a long cut btw.

Ah, crap

Its not good to put makeup on fresh cuts because they won't heal as fast and the makeup could cause the cuts to become infected. Makeup would be better if they were already healed or scars.

Bracelets me and my friends do that. Make it sorta a "fashion statement" layer them and actually have some fun putting them together! Make up doesn't really work for me... I wear sweatshirts and long shirts alot too. good luck!

The problem with bracelets is the cut isn't near my wrist so unless I wore a LOT it wouldn't cover it

It is winter... Wear a sweater? Or a light-weight jacket?

If you can't just use the "I'm really cold" excuse, you could also go for the 3/4 sleeved shirts... But I don't know where it is exactly, so...

Sorry if neither of those helped.

Life is too

Short to spend

It at war with

Yourself.

Iím catching stars in the sky because I am fixing the soul within me. May it be from the heart a girl broke years ago or my soul simply repairing itself as it was shattered on my walk on this earth. May the stardust fill those cracks within my soul making me brand new, but never forgetting who I once was.
