Unhappy Is there something wrong? - February 9th 2011, 05:04 AM

Where to start? Well for the past 4 or 5 months I have been pulling out my hair, Ill be playing with my hair and after a little bit ill notice that I have been pulling out hairs. I don't know why I am doing this I don't know if it is classified as self harm but I need help I don't want to lose any more hair its starting to thin out and I just cant stop.

Does any one know what I can do to stop it or how its caused??

You would never know it but I have lived a thousand lives. I have seen a thousand tragedy's. I have cried a thousand tears, and have herd a thousand voices scream. You cant take that pain away from anyone, you cant un see what you have seen, you cant cover your ears and pretend that you cant hear the screams, you cant run away from the lives you have lived. You can only remember and hope it humanity doesn't make the same mistakes.

Hi, You need to distract yourself and keep your hands busy, so that you won't do it subconsiously or feel the urge to do it.

It is self-harm if you are doing it on purpose, but it sounds like you aren't. I agree with Charli, I think you need to keep your hands busy and when you feel the urge to play with your hair distract yourself.
