You are NOT a fuck up ok? you sound like you have tried to stop so congratulations, its going to take time. cutting is a big addiction to kick, but its a cycle and cycle's can be broken just like anything else,Dont ever give up , you can do it you just need to have faith. you are going to slip up thats understandable but dont put yourself down or treat yourself harshly when you do its not your fault. To help you stop you need to identify your trigger, what is it thas making you feel like you need to cut, stress? relationships? family? self image? once you have figured that out it makes the problem so much easier to face and handle because it has a name , a shape, a aface if you get me? it can be overcome and you can do it, dont put yourself down. Instead of cutting try singing, punishing yourself by not cutting, screaming, counting, drawing, writing a poem, writing down your feelings, talking to someone about it- a friend or familly member, cutting an orange, throwing a pillow at a wall. I hope you get better and its a real hard addicition to kick but its not worth the pain or the scarsx ( i would know i have to wear long sleevs because of it) slipping up doesnt mean u shud give up, it means u should persevere. Next time you feel liek cutting pm me or call someone you trust and talk it out <3 love pixie xxx
