since picking at your wounds is appearently self harm it's harder for me to stop. I think I can stop hurting myself but then I pick at a scab.... because I'm honestly okay with the scars, I kinda like them actually. When I pick at a scab I think what's the point, since I like the pain, I'm fine with scars and I'm clearly not happy? I'm convinced SH is okay for me.

yes, picking scabs is considered SH. but it can also be a nervous habit, the same as picking your nails off, or chewing on ice. And your not convinced SH is okay, you just don't know what else to do, I dealt with the same problem for two years. But you can turn the same motivation that you have for selfharm into another type of coping skill.
