Am I a horrible person?

[Miserable At Best.]

Okay so today a girl from my school Jennifer mejia was killed by a robber at a pharmacy. I didn't kno her personally but I was friends with her sister nd so I know Jennifer was such a beautiful sweet kind young lady and it makes me sad to kno that her life was taken the way it was especially since her high school graduation is this week. I haven't been able to totally have a break down over her death because I find it hard to even think about so I'm trying to avoid that topic of conversation. Just knowing how she died and how young she was it truly does hurt me and it makes me want to SH so bad because I think of all the times I've wanted my life to just be over bt how could I take life for granted when she died so young I hate myself for even still thinking about SH when I kno I should be happy I'm even alive. Does this make me a horrible person because I still wanna SH?

I don't think anyone's a horrible person for wanting to SH. I mean, it's an understandable urge...I hope you get better though.

No! It doesn't make you a horrible person hun. It sounds like you're going through such a huge amount so really well done for resisting the urge. It's completely understandable you wanting to if you've done it before. It's not something you can just give up that easily just because something bad has happened in someone else's life, and it definitely doesn't mean your problems are any less real. i think you need a really big HUG

definitely doesn't make you a horrible person, it's a natural reaction. just not a healthy one and one you should try your hardest to avoid...you can do it!
