i think im okay now - July 30th 2011, 01:21 AM

i havent thought about cutting myself at all today... i think im getting better, is there anything i can do to stay like this for as long as i can?

I think if a video game helps you not cut, then play it, just don't get to the point where it's a constant thing just to keep your mind of cutting, try adding other activities in that way you can do more and more things instead of cutting and so you can expand your alternatives beyond video games. If it helps you, keep on doing it, just don't do it to the point where you get addicted to the video game. Try reading a book, listening to music, watching TV/a movie, or maybe even going outside and taking a walk. Try other activities to see what works best for you and keep doing those things.

Thats really goo0d to hear! Just carry on doing what your doing and keeping yourself busy so you are occupying your mind away from the thoughts and urges. Remember if things do get rough to try using dome of the alternatives to self harm!
