So my "friend" got drunk last night , and he told people about my depression and suicidal thoughts.
I feel betrayed because it was private .. and now hes kind of blaming it on the alcohol ! .. so now im in the middle of my room with my blade ,, cutting up my wrists :// self harm always gets me through , in a bad way but still maybe tonight's the night right ? Well that was not very nice of your friend to blurt it out, but maybe you should've kept it to yourself ya know? But anyhow, no tonights not the night. Its never a night to do such a thing. In every bad situation there is always a postive! Find the postive, maybe you could seek help? Pm me if ya need anything

Thats rotten of your friend. Im sorry he did that!! Alcohol isnt truth serum, hes just using it as an excuse.

 There's no excuse for what your friend did, but in fairness he was under the influence of alcohol, which probably loosened his tongue a bit. However, there is no night for you to kill yourself. You are so much better than that. Try the alternatives - http://www.teenhelp.org/forums/f12-s...ves-self-harm/ - some of these can cause you pain, or give you a sensation, without endangering yourself, or encouraging you to go further. I don't think you can really fully blame him, he was intoxicated. I'm not saying it's a very good excuse, but if he gets drunk a lot then I'd say it's probably better to avoid telling him private stuff like that. You could always use that as a way to tell people that he didn't know what he was saying, because he was drunk.

I don't really think that's fair, if someone is having suicidal thoughts and/or suffering from depression, in my opinion, it would be better to tell someone. The problem here, is that this person evidently wasn't the most reliable! (But, yes, alchohol influence). Sorry, I don't know how to quote properly :P
