what did i do wrong? -

the one person im closest to is pissed off with me... she texte dme yesterday saying i have problems past depression and need medication and to go see a therapist all because se saw my facebook wall and i had song lyrics to A Box Full Of Sharp Objects which freaked her out, and i had an album of pictures with captions of me sorta venting on how i feel... she told me that if i put that up on facebook then i just want people to know that im emo... that stuff has been there for over a week and she was the first to say anything about it... i think shes really mad at me but im still having a hard time understanding it

She seems controling.
Why would she hate something YOU put on YOUR profile? If you guys are close, she should have some respect for you. Stand your ground. Tell her that you don't understand her. HOPEFULLY, she will explain herself. Maybe your scaring her with your "emo-ness." Or she's just looking out for you. Ask her why she's mad at you because of your profile. Well, someone that is depressed for a while really SHOULD see a therapist. I can kind of understand where she's coming from. It can be weird or scary to see a friend post that kind of thing. And I can also see how it would look "attention seeking" to her (which there isn't anything wrong with, but it could also mean you'd benefit from getting help). Honestly, if you post that kind of thing people ARE going to think you're trying to seem emo or they're going to say those things because that's just how people are. I think you should try talking to her to see exactly what she's feeling and thinking.

It sounds like shes just looking out for you. Honestly if my bestfriend knew I SH he would yell at me for hours. He would be sooo pissed (thats just him and his personality)..and i think hes gonna find out once school starts
 Anywayys, i understand ur situation. Is this how she would typically respond to something, as in its just her personality? Talk to her. Then maybe to avoid drama remove the post and edit the captions. Its a small compromise for your friendship. Luck! And lemme know what happens if you dont mind
