Imagine you're on a roof top blind folded. You don’t know which way you're facing. you can sit in the same place and just wait for someone or something that will never come, or you can follow your gut or the one voice beckoning to you... you don’t know if they're going to lead you back inside, or beyond the edge of that rooftop. But if you never take a chance, never put enough faith to take a step... you will be left sitting in the same place waiting for answers that will never come.

This is excellent! This can apply to more than self harm, this may actually be best placed in the self expression forum but I do see the point of it here.
