I want to tell,. - November 14th 2011, 09:04 PM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of peer pressure or bullying, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I confronted my bully today. Then she said all these lies. I bite as i walked out.
But all day i'v been thinking about going to my teacher that told my class that if we ever need to talk, go to a teacher. I want to, but i'm afraid my parents will find out. If they do, they'll just make me feel terrible about it and just yell at me, just make me feel even more worthless.
So, should I go to my teacher with the risk?,.

It's worth it to tell a teacher when you're ready. You don't deserve to be bullied. Let the person know that you're concerned about how your parents will react and see what they say. Since I don't know your parents it's impossible for me to say that they wouldn't make you feel worse, but I don't think most parents would do that.

Most guidance counsellors and some teachers believe that if it's not needed, the parents wont be notified. So your best option is to talk to a trusted teacher like a fav teacher or homeroom teacher or guidance counsellor.

Don't you hear me?
Screaming for the one missing all the signs.
Why must I work so hard?!
To show you I'm dying inside?

I would tell a teacher, especially if you trust them or they are your favorite teacher. They won't tell your parents if you don't want to.
