I caved. -

One week! I was so happy to acknowledge that important milestone Saturday..
Then Sunday night, I got into the same slump I have been in and picked up a razor this time, not scissors, and stupidly tried to stop the pain I'm in. Last night it was the same thing, but to the point that I had to wrap up my leg before bed to keep myself from bleeding through.  I don't know what to do.  Here's to the strong; thanks to the brave. Stress caused me to self harm. I wasn't thinking. I was just stressed, and so I did it.

So you slipped up. I promise it happens to all of us, and I know how hard it can be to stop SH-ing. What matters now is that you keep trying. Try the alternatives thread (if you haven't read it already, I suggest you do). You can do this! Stay strong, lovely <3

It makes me sad too. I've been looking at the alternatives and they are great ideas, but sometimes when I'm being irrational I don't always think to look there.

I know how it is, once you get into that frame of mind, you don't even want to try to stop. I really don't know what to say to this (and any advice I give you will be totally hypocritical... :-/). One thing that helps me, though, is that I printed out the list of alternatives so it's easy to get to when I'm triggered.

Thanks for the idea about the alternatives. I might try that. I'll just have to make sure it's hidden.
And I was actually going to talk to my school counselor today, but she wasn't there and the only one there was a guy. Because of my past, I don't like discussing things with guys.
