The other day, my friend asked me about the scars on my arm... and since i figured i could trust him, i told him i used to be a cutter....
i said i USED to be... i feel like thats a big step... feeling confident in my stopping to use past tense... i know this is kinda stupid, but i was really proud of myself. I am having an urge to again right now, and I guess that typing this is helping Thanks all  <3 Sora Just rise above this

good job (: I know the feeling! Today my friend asked me why I had a butterfly drawn on my arm and I explained that I used to cut. It's been 36 days, that's a long time in my book!

Congratulations! That is a really good step in the right direction, being able to talk about it in past tense. I started out that way, too, and it definitely gets better from there.

Congratulations! That's a huge step towards recovery. When you can use the past tense, it shows that you're walking away and leaving it behind. I'm super proud of you too!

I don't think that's stupid at all. I think it's a great step forward, not to mention inspiring. I hope things keep going well for you.
