Hey there.

First off, this in no way makes you a failure. It sounds like you have some unresolved feelings; I don't know what they are, or what you've gone through, but self-harming to deal with these thoughts, events, and feelings doesn't mean you're a failure. What makes you think you're a terrible person? I don't believe anyone deserves this sort of pain. I believe you deserve better - and you need to believe that too.

If you've already hurt yourself, try not to dwell on it. Just deal with the injury, if necessary, and move on. Maybe try some of our alternatives? They can help focus your mind on something other than the thought of harming yourself or ending your life. I'd also like to ask, is there anybody in your life you can talk to? A friend, family member, counsellor? Talking things through can really help. Here's a list of hotlines you can call; or if you'd prefer, you can talk to an operator via our Live Help system.

I hope things get better for you soon. Take care, okay? You are stronger than this.

Nothing in the world is

It's harsh, and cruel.

But that's why there's us - champions.
Doesn't matter where we come from,
what we've done or suffered,
or even if we make a difference.

We live as though the
world is as it should be,
to show it what it can be.
