Hey,
I know what you mean, I'm always thinking about it too.
I know it's hard but there are things you can do to distance your thought from it.
Think about something that makes you happy, or try doing something that takes your mind off it, like drawing or something that you like to do. I know it doesn't work for everyone but there are numerous different things you could try.
If you ever need to talk you can PM me, I'd be happy to listen and help =)

Hey Amanda,

I've definitely been there and know the feeling. And as much as you might want it sometimes, you know that it's not the right thing to do, you know that it's not even a particularly good thing to do.

Please, check out TeenHelp's list of alternatives to self-harm. You might find something on there that will help you break the habit. That list has definitely helped me in the past.

Something else that has helped me is trying to survive second by second. There's not any particular moment that really forces you to cut; I've always done it because the culmination of individual moments becomes unendurable.

Try to experience and endure every second just by itself, without thinking about the past or the future. Try focusing on not cutting every second, without thinking about how long you haven't cut for or thinking about how you couldn't possibly cut for x amount of days.

No individual moment is, in and of itself, unendurable.

I wish you the best of luck. Please feel free to PM me if you need anything.

You are beautiful.

Black, white, gay, straight, bisexual. Whether you are smart or quiet or impossibly in love with your best friend, someone out there cherishes your smile and gets butterflies when you walk into a room.

Someone out there can't stop thinking about you. You Are Beautiful. Don't ever believe differently."

If you ever want someone to talk to, about absolutely anything, feel free to inbox me!
