Exclamation How to do with the triggers... - January 18th 2012, 03:06 PM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of self harm, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

Everyday I deal with the triggers that lead me into the directions of cutting myself or hurting myself in anyway. How can I deal with these triggers? How can I avoid going back to myself self abuse??

Hey I'd like to point you in the direction of this thread, which lists lots of alternatives to hurting yourself

As for the triggers, try to keep yourself in a place where you can't self harm. When you feel like hurting yourself for whatever reason, make sure you are around a group of people, like friends or family. When you're with people who care about you, you can't hurt yourself.

I hope things get better for you <3
