cut after 73 days - January 19th 2012, 06:37 PM

On sunday I was so proud of myself, I went 73 days without cutting. Then that night, my mom and I got in a huge fight and I pushed her. I yelled at her for no reason and I was just a total bitch to her. I felt so guilty afterwards, so I took a shower to try to calm down. I have one of those sharp razors for shaving hanging in the shower. I grabbed and tore up my arm. I honestly didn't know I could cut that deep with that kind of razor. I did it again today. My arm is a mess, I never cut that much in 2 days before. I don't know what to do. I don't know if I can make it 73 more days!

I'm just a girl that wants to believe in fairytales again...

Hey Devon,
73 days! Congratulations! That is amazing !
I know what you feel about being like that to your mom. I feel exactly the same way towards mine. I am going to encourage you to talk to your mom . Yeah I know that it'll make her feel awful knowing that you did this. But it'll be worse if something happens to you. Honestly, she'd rather you tell her about this. Sought it out. Write a letter maybe?
I know its difficult, but try?
Treat this as a slip. We all do that. Its allowed because we are just humans and we make mistakes. That is how we learn and figure out life. The best part is that we are all in this together! Calm down, and start again. You have done this before and you can do it again.
Take care and stay strong <3 PM me anytime

Its easier said that done BUT most of the great things wouldn't have ever been done if they hadn't been said first.
