I know how you feel. I have a saying, "cut, burn, feel relief". But it's not worth it in the end. Of course, you can't stop unless you really want to. It's up to you ultimately.

![]() I totally get where you're coming from. I am like that too. But the fact that you're posting here shows that somewhere you do want to get better. That somewhere you want to be happy. I know that being happy after being sad for such a long time can be really difficult. It can be scary even because we kind of become comfortable with how we are feeling right now. Even though it is a horrible feeling, but we still somewhere get used to it. But that doesn't change the fact that we desperately seek happiness. And that being happy can be a struggle. Sometimes when we start to be a little happy, we run back and seek comfort in that sad feeling, because we are familiar with it. But it is okay, what you need right now is a professional who can guide you and help you get better.I know it is easier said that done. But you know that somewhere deep down you want this too. Till then, go through this list of alternatives for when you feel like SHing. Every alternative won't work for you. You'll have to find the right one that works.
