I think my scratches on my arm from my nails are infected and I have no clue how to tell if they are or not. I mean I have pictures but I know better to post them I just need to know how to determine it i can hardly move my arm or wrist with out them hurting like a bitch

Please see a doctor ASAP. If they are infected, you need to make sure it's not serious. For now, put some disinfectant on it and wash it out as best as you can. However, if an infection goes too long untreated, it could cause a serious problem. So, make an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can!

i agree and depending on how the scratches look and how deep they r u could just tell the doctor one of your pets clawed u, or u got it from a rusty nail, or from a sharp piece on your counter, u could probably come up with interesting ones if u look at everything in your house that could give u scratches. thats what i wud do if u dont want to tell them.

I definately agree with Iris, you should get those scratches looked at by a doctor as soon as possible. Especially if they are red, swollen, bruised, have some pus on them, and how big they are. Infections are serious if left untreated.

I am NOT going to the doctores unlell I damn well know they are infected.
my whole arm from elbow to wrist is hot like it has a fever. I can hardly move my arm at all with out it hurting. and my arm is swollen. But I repeat unless it is a positive fact they are infected I CANNOT go to the doctors because I also have cuts on my arm as well and grandma and grandpa do not know Maybe one day I will actually

I understand that you feel that you cannot go to the doctor's as your grandparents do not know about the cuts on your arms in addition to the scratches. I'm not a doctor, and as such cannot give medical advice. You will have to use your judgement on whether or not they are infected. I recommend getting them checked, however you will have to make that decision.
