...LOVE.... i carved that into my hip.

why is the question i want to ask.... i was just like hehe blood and then i started writing love. I dont quite understand....

this shall turn into an interesting scar....

Does anyone else carve words into yourself? ive never done it before, and i never expected i would. you see, I used to just sort of try and stay out of it if people carved words. i thought they were being kinda weird and i never could judge if i would still feel the urge throughout the whole word.

i realized though that when i started carving the word, i wasnt even close to satisfied until it was done...

hmm... thought provoking... and im dissappointed in myself :P

I've only carved a word once and while have thought about doing it again I probably won't. Don't be disappointed, though. This is just a temporary relapse. Stay strong, and it will start to get better.

I have the word 'Love' carved into my arm. It's pretty much faded now.
Don't be disappointed, though. It's only a slip-up. Pick yourself back up and go for longer without cutting.

It's ok. You screwed up once but we all do it, I started the butterfly project the other day and my butterfly was dead within 24 hours. You can always try again.

And hey, there's worse scars to have.

When I was 16 I did what I now think is the stupidest thing I EVER did. I thought I was madly in love with this one guy and he didn't love me back. Then he moved away and I got SO depressed. I carved his name into my arm

. Later I regretted it so much and I went over it with new cuts so it wouldn't be readable and luckily it is now faded quite a lot. It can be disappointing but try not to let it get to you too much. It was a slip up and you can fix it you just have to keep trying and you will get there

My friend does this... he's doing this cause he keeps talking about a girl and how it ended bad, and he says he's going to do something on Valentines day.
It's the same as self harm though.. when you feel guilty, or unable to do something you try to hit yourself. I punched myself with 70% power before because I was depressed because I didn't make it into Stuyvesant and my mom took away my PC for a month -.-
It's perfectly normal but please don't leave a scar. Feeling pain can help sooth emotions I think.

I once cut a word into my thigh. I cut the word hate. The scar is pretty much faded completely. Good luck with recovery!!

I don't know how long ago it was, 2-3 weeks I'm guessing. I carved the word pussy (

) onto my upper arm. I'm afraid of what the scar is going to look like.

and it makes me happy. Im SO glad you didnt. Im having that problem too... its almost like CRAP i need to make sure it all scars well so its readable (what. a. issue. filled. child.)

I did the same thing, only i had the bright idea of doing the cuts to hide the name when drunk and missed, woke up the next morning looked at my arm and though F*CK so did it when sober.

I cant see any signs of where i cut the name now but can see my cover up cuts so now i wish i just left it as it seems to have healed without covering, where as the cover cuts have scared
