It is SO FREAKING HARD to get dressed for church when you're a cutter! I have a very limited selection of nice clothes, and my church is really dressy... And NONE of them are long sleeves. So what the hell am I supposed to wear?!?! My mom will get mad at me for wearing a million bazillion fucking hair ties around my wrist.... This sucks. I am so confused....

I'm in a sorority and we have what's called "badge attire" aka nice clothing that's church/business appropriate. Cardigans, long pants, and tights really helped me out.

I'm glad you found something! Also, a lot of places sell really elaborate arm warmers that you can wear with your dress. They have them in silk too, and that's very dressy. If you can't find any in a dress store or the mall, the Internet had loads to choose from! If you live with a parent/guardian, you could just tell your parent/guardian that you get really cold in church.

This may be an issue, but maybe you should try to find ways to stop cutting. It'll help more not only getting dressed for church, but with so much more. I'm an ex cutter and haven't cut for 2 years. Message me if you'd like

I have gotten better with it, my wrists are almost clear now and I don't cut much at all anymore
