I'll be three months clean on the 19th.
I feel like it's only because i have daily body checks.

Yesterday after some bad memories replayed in my head all day, i realized that all my scars are almost gone. They're fading. All 100 + of them. It's going to be like it never happened. Like the pain wasn't real.

I want them back more than ever.
I don't know what to do.

The scars are always going to be there, but not visible to others. they will be on your heart. The pain is real, because you felt it. It is not something that just fades with time. It did happen, and you are stronger because of it. and congrats for being SH free for 3 months! that's a huge accomplishment.

^ Totally true.
YOU know the pain you went through, and you know that it was real. We know that it was real and that it really happened. If you told anybody, THEY know it was real and that it really happened. Physically, I don't know if they'll ever go COMPLETELY away, but don't you think it might be nice to be rid of the past? I mean, yes it happened and that will never change or make it less real, but you can finally move on and not be burdened by it and reminded by it every day.
I know the way you feel, trust me.
Congrats on 3 months!
PM m if you want to ok? I'm always gonna be here.

I will be generous with my love today. I will sprinkle compliments and uplifting words everywhere I go. I will do this knowing that my words are like seeds and when they fall on fertile soil, a reflection of those seeds will grow into something greater.

Heyy,

I would actually say that although you may be sad to not have the scars, it is a really good thing.. I self-harmed for a very very long time, my arms are scared for life.. I look at them and it reminds me of the what I have done. So I would say its actually one less trigger. Deep down you are never going to forget what you have done.

Take care,
xx
