Deep enough? - February 23rd 2012, 01:03 PM

So much deeper
I wish I could cut deeper
Enough to hit something.
And bleed out
Enough for me to faint
So I wouldn't have to deal with this crap anymore.
I'm so tired of this shit.
It's like everyone is purposely trying to make me feel like a piece of shit.
I am a piece of shit.
Ugh.. urges...

Will it?
Will it ever get better?
Honestly, Just kill me now.
Seriously, do it.

I'm sorry that you feel this way! But first and foremost you are NOT a piece of shit! I'm sure you're a wonderful person who deserves so much better than feeling this way! Please, don't go any deeper you may think that's what you want but trust me, it's not worth it. I really think that you need to get help for this, maybe try telling an adult about how you're feeling. It WILL get better! Hang in there! You can PM me if you ever want to talk about it!

all i want is a place to call my own and
mend the hearts of everyone who feels alone,
you know to keep your hopes up high and your head down low.

I've felt this way before. Its odd how when you cut, no matter how deep you go, you still want to go deeper. I started going to therapy, and it really has helped me. I'm 87 days clean. Stay strong.

Hey Olivia
I am sorry that you're going through such an awful time. No one deserves this. But one thing I can promise you is that one day this suffering will be over. It may not seem like it ever will, but take my word for it. It will end one day and you will be in a happier, better place. You will get every happiness that you deserve. You're beautiful. Hang on till then.

Use these alternatives whenever you have the urges to cut. Every alternative may not work for you. You might have to try some to find the one that works.

I am here if you need someone to talk to. PM/VM me anytime.
Stay strong <3 You can make it through this!

Hi Olivia,

I know things are rough for you right now. And I'm really sorry that you're feeling this way. You definitely don't deserve to have to go through this.

I don't really know what is making you feel this way, but it's often the case that people who self harm, hurt themselves to deal with something that has happened to them and is making them feel bad and this is their way of dealing with the emotional pain. You hurt yourself, and the physical pain kind of takes over and therefore we don't feel the emotional pain but this can just last for a few seconds, but in that moment, it feels worth it. Is this how it is for you? If it isn't, please say and if you want to explain to us why you self harm and why you feel it helps. If it is this way then you're welcome to talk to us a bit more about it.

We won't judge you here. You can talk to us about anything and you don't have to tell us anything you don't want too. If there is something upsetting you, we're here for you. You can post back in here, in a different forum or you're more than welcome to shoot me a PM anytime. Just remember that you are not alone.

You're worth more than self harm, don't forget that. And there is a lot more to life than this. I know that's hard to see and believe right now but things can and will get better. But for that to happen, you have to work through the things which are making you feel this way and learn to cope with then in a healthy way and even learn to view them in a different way so they don't upset you as much. It is going to be hard and it is going to take time but you CAN do it.

Don't give up, keep on fighting through it all and you will get there. Don't be alone either.

Look after yourself,
