I can't seem to stop. Honestly I'm addicted.
I am severely depressed and nothing is helping and i have not been prescribed
my medication yet.

But i can't.

Do you talk to a therapist about this? If not then I think that would be a good step! Therapy can be such a great tool in overcoming these thoughts! Also, just try to do things that distract you from these thoughts; going for a walk, listen to music, color, watch a movie, etc. Just do something you enjoy!

If you ever want to talk about anything, feel free to send me a PM!

all i want is a place to call my own and
mend the hearts of everyone who feels alone,
you know to keep your hopes up high and your head down low.

Hi there,

I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. It sounds as though you're really struggling right now.

I don't know if something has happened to make you feel so low that you feel you need to hurt yourself but you can always talk to us about anything if you want too. We're not going to judge you. We'ee here to help you as much as we can do.

Self harm can become 'addictive'. We can get into this vicous cycle and it's an incredibly hard one to break out off. But just because it's hard doesn't mean that you can't co it. If it was easy it wouldn't be worth it and you wouldn't learn anything from it. As hard as it is right now, this is going to help ,old you into the person you become and once you're free from it, you'll be happy and proud of yourself for doing so.

I know that this is hard but ultimately you're in control. The only person who can stop you from hurting yourself is you. Try using alternatives. I'm not saying everything is going to help so it's all about trial and error. Don't give up on everything when you come across one thing that doesn't work for you. Sometimes it might be you have to 'surf' the urges like you would a wave. Let it pass because it will and yes it might be hard and distressing but uf you want to overcome self harm, you have to beat the urges.

Try talking to people if you want help. You don't have to be alone in this but people can't help you if they don't know what's going on for you. You need to let them in and you need to be honest.

I know that it's really hard but you can do this. Recovory is possible and you can get there. It's going to take time and it's going to be hardwork at times but it'll be worth it in the end.

Hang in there, you can do this.

"Only in the dark, can you see the stars..."
