It's almost summer right well... - March 17th 2012, 09:46 PM

I have SH scars and it gets way to hot in summer so I would have to wear short sleeves. But I can in public just not in school plus I'm in the catholic school, what should I do just wear long sleeves or short? I don't really care what they think but I care about the questions. I am not getting bio oil for weeks and it will take a month to see the results and yeah what should I do?

You could just go with short sleeves and maybe no one would see that the scars are from SH. Or you could try to cover them up with bracelets, foundation, concealer or some other makeup.

I agree with the above post, just wear short. I think it's more obvious if it's hot outside and you're wearing long sleeves that something is wrong over wearing short sleeves and having people see. A lot of times if people see they won't really say anything and if they do just brush it off, that's what I do. It's not that bad! (:

Hey there,

As you said yourself in the summer it is way too hot for long sleeves, if you want to wear short sleeves then go for it. Don't be worried about what others are going to think or say, be confident in your own body and wear something because you want to.
If you do want to cover them up though i would suggest makeup and bracelets as you won't be as hot.

Feel free to PM me if you ever want/need to talk
Take care,
Charli

What everyone else said, basically. I've not SH'd in about two years now, and constantly wear short sleeves, and have never gotten anyone come up to me and ask about it. Most people are sensible enough to know to not bring them up, and they aren't as visible to other people, since they aren't constantly inspecting your skin.
