Wondering about scars - April 7th 2012, 03:49 PM

I have a cut that was/is kinda deep, and it's in the middle of healing. It's not super deep, but it prob. could've used a stitch or two. it's less than an inch long, and probably 1/2 centimeter deep, at most. i was just wondering, after it heals, how long would i have the scar for? I don't mind the scar, jw though if anyone has any exp. with sorta deeper cuts and how long they've had scars for, etc. thanks

PM me if you need anything!

Hi there.

Scars can generally take a few months to a few years to start healing to their fullest and I guess that depends on the depth etc. I would suggest you using something like Palmers or bio oil to hel reduce the scaring for now or it might be worth seeing your doctor if it bothers you a lot.

I hope this helps,
