Could I have OCD? - September 27th 2012, 10:14 PM

I was wondering could I have OCD, I think I do.
When I see something that is not aligned correctly I usily have to fix it.
I often do that, but I don't want to clean up dirty stuff I just always have to align stuff correctly most of the time like if there is a few things on a dresser I will align them.
I also always make sure all of my dogs are safe and my family is.
I heard these are signs of OCD but I have no idea if I have it or not if I do thats gonna be hard to deal with becaause I already have turrets, ADHD, and maybe OCD.

We can't diagnose you here. As we are not trained professionals, I suggest you speak with your doctor

I agree that you should speak with your doctor since we can't actually diagnose you on teenhelp.

I'll miss you grandma more then you'll ever know. I know your being taken good care of. I will never forget you.

We cannot diagnose you as was previously mentioned.
Also, disorders have set criteria and a minimum of criteria that someone must meet etc.
I like things to be aligned, knowing that my family is safe Etc. so you may or may not have OCD.
Caring about your family and house is great , so is organization, however there is an excess and we do not know how far you go into caring about them. Even if you were to clarify here, that wouldn't be able to change our response because we cannot give professional opinions, we are all just people to listen and give you suggestions.
So you should ask your parents about seeing a psychiatrist or other mental health professional for diagnosis or if you are seeing someone regularly then explain to them what you are thinking and why you feel you may have OCD.

I don't have to say what's already been saying, so I just want to wish you good luck, when you go to the doctor. There you can find the help you need and deserve.

Take care. x

That's not OCD.

A few things you must know about me.

1. Social interactions are confusing. I may offend you. Don't take it the wrong way.

2. If you need help, regardless of what it is, you can always pm me.

3. I'm brutally honest. Sugar coating is more brutal.

4. You, yes the person reading this, is a spectacular lovely person. Don't let anybody tell you different.
