Autonomic dysfunction anyone? - November 16th 2013, 08:32 PM

I have had my spells since I was a little girl, same what my father has and they told him it could be this- and they can never truly diagnosis us though.
I can't hold a stable job cause I pass out on the clock and people tend not to like that.

Re: Autonomic dysfunction anyone? - November 21st 2013, 11:18 PM

Hi Melanie,

I have never heard of autonomic disfunction before however it does sound like it would be difficult to live with especially since you seem like you want to work but people will not hire you because of your issues with sleep.
I did research on this to see if I could find out more information but I did not find much; all I found out pretty much was that it affects the autonomic nervous system which controls many vital bodily functions.
Is there any way you could connect with other people that have your condition? Maybe you could do research and see if any support groups exist or national organizations exist to help people with autonomic disfunction live their lives.
Hopefully this is helpful in some way and if you ever would like someone to talk to, you can send me a message and I will be glad to chat with you.
Take care.
