Unhappy have to speak for disability awarness wk - September 11th 2010, 12:36 AM

im so nervous my skool has disability awerness wk cuz we have kids with disabilitys at our skool and alot and i have to speak in front of the whole freashmen class about my disability and wat it does im visually impared but im soo scared i nevr done anything like this b4 help i need adivce how to motivate me i want to do this but im scared




dont give up just hold me now

Hey there,

What are you most afraid of? Have you decided what you're going to say before you do the speech? It's a pretty amazing thing that you're going to do this speech at all! It will open the eyes of so many and give them an insight into the lives of those struggling with disabilities. Understandably it is scary. Have you thought of any methods to handle the initial anxiety? Do you have anything to play with of breathing exercises to keep you calm while you do it? (I could give you a lot of suggestions, just shoot me a PM!)
